Why not paper or plastic?

Paper shopping bags are often considered a better choice than plastic but consider this; the American Forest and Paper Association reports that in 1999 the United States used 10 billion paper grocery bags which consumed 14 million trees.  Still think paper is better?

Plastic bags are not biodegradable. They are made from petroleum, a non renewable resource, and end up in landfills, along road sides, in waterways and have a life span of up to 1000 years!  According to the Environmental Protection Agency 100 billion plastic shopping bags are used annually in the United States.  12 million barrels of oil are used in their production.  Sadly, hundreds of thousands of whales, sea turtles, dolphins, and marine mammals die annually after ingesting discarded plastic bags polluting our oceans.

Okay, I have my reusable bag now what?

Take your bags with you to the grocery store. When the clerk asks, "Paper or plastic?" proudly and loudly say "neither, I have my own reusable bags thanks" and hand them to the bagger.  Afterwards take a moment to enjoy the earth take a sigh of relief.

How do your bags compare to my basic flat canvas bag?

Flat canvas bags are great because they are reusable but make it difficult for the baggers to pack and for you unpack at home.  Our bags stand up straight and are modeled after standard brown grocery bags.  This makes it easier to pack grocery items like egg cartons, cereal boxes, loaves of bread and because its waterproof items like fresh meat packages.

When do my bags ship?

All bags will ship the next business day via Priority Mail.

Can I return or exchange my bags?

Sure. Simply send an email and mail back within 30 days of receipt of bags for a full refund minus shipping charges.

Can I purchase the bags wholesale?
